Melor assemblyman admitted to USM Hospital

KOTA BAHARU, Dec 11 — Melor assemblyman Wan Ismail Wan Jusoh of PAS was admitted to the Universiti Sains Malaysia Hospital in Kubang Kerian upon his return today from Mecca where he had fallen ill while performing the Haj.

Wan Ismail, 59, was taken to the hospital in an ambulance after flying in to the Sultan Ismail Petra airport in Pengkalan Chepa near here at about 4pm.

Several PAS leaders greeted him at the airport, among them Kelantan PAS secretary Mohd Zaki Ibrahim, who is also Kelantan State Assembly deputy speaker, and Pulai Chondong assemblyman Zulkifli Mamat. — Bernama
